Role Overview
The Merchant KYC Screening / AFU - Onboarding Officer will support merchant onboarding and maintenance for merchants and clients in Saudi Arabia. The role also contributes to project work, new releases, and product updates, while coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and partners to keep the business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle requests coming into the unit across different applications and ensure they are completed and responded to within the agreed service timelines.
- Examine KYC documentation for Network International and aggregator merchants in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Perform new merchant screening through VMSS and MATCH online checks.
- Check merchant documents carefully and confirm that the information and supporting papers are accurate and valid.
- Enter and maintain new merchant records in Way4 and other required Network International systems within the expected timelines.
- Process merchant maintenance requests such as demographic updates, account changes, and MSF-related details.
- Keep MIS reports current and share them with the relevant teams as required by procedure.
- Make sure merchant setup files and processed documents are shared through secure channels, while following all policies and avoiding audit issues.
- Ensure business-as-usual operations are not affected when the supervisor or manager is unavailable, and that the process continues without disruption.
- Resolve daily customer queries, issues, and requests from both internal and external stakeholders before the cut-off time so that nothing remains pending.
- Carry out all activities in line with compliance standards and documented procedures.
- Verify signatories and approval details on request forms when needed.
- Support partners through consultation, assistance, and education on new opportunities within customer and prospect accounts.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to deliver complete solutions to clients.
- Prepare accurate data for daily and weekly progress reports and submit them on time.
Requirements
- A university certificate is required.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience is needed.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities are required.

Additional Information
The role is part of the AFU - Acquiring unit and focuses on onboarding, maintenance, compliance, screening, and coordination tasks for merchants in the KSA market.
Activities must be completed in accordance with compliance requirements, internal procedures, and secure handling standards, with no audit observations caused by process lapses.
The position also involves maintaining continuity of operations during supervisor or manager absence and ensuring that no tasks remain open past the required cut-off times.
