Lift Technician (Testing and Inspection)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lift Technician to perform daily lift inspections and testing across various locations. The role involves certifying component replacements, conducting annual and five-year load tests, addressing lift-related complaints, and coordinating closely with contractors to ensure issues are promptly resolved.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine lift inspections and functional testing daily
• Verify and certify parts replaced by lift servicing companies
• Execute annual and quinquennial load tests on lifts
• Respond to and resolve complaints relating to lifts
• Communicate incidents to contractors and ensure timely resolution through follow-ups
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and handle related administrative tasks
• Manage email correspondence effectively

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a NITEC qualification in Building, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficient in using email and Excel for communications and data handling
• Preferable to have prior experience in repair and maintenance activities
• Must hold a valid motorcycle license and own a personal vehicle
• Willing to undertake overnight standby duties to respond to emergency calls
