Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lift Technician to perform daily lift inspections and testing across various locations. The role involves certifying component replacements, conducting annual and five-year load tests, addressing lift-related complaints, and coordinating closely with contractors to ensure issues are promptly resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine lift inspections and functional testing daily
- Verify and certify parts replaced by lift servicing companies
- Execute annual and quinquennial load tests on lifts
- Respond to and resolve complaints relating to lifts
- Communicate incidents to contractors and ensure timely resolution through follow-ups
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and handle related administrative tasks
- Manage email correspondence effectively
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a NITEC qualification in Building, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proficient in using email and Excel for communications and data handling
- Preferable to have prior experience in repair and maintenance activities
- Must hold a valid motorcycle license and own a personal vehicle
- Willing to undertake overnight standby duties to respond to emergency calls
