Role Overview
We are looking for an early-career Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on enhancing the robustness, security, and scalability of Revel's software by developing and managing the infrastructure that supports our continuous integration and testing pipelines. It offers an excellent opportunity for a junior engineer to develop specialized skills in a critical field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, construct, and sustain hardware-in-the-loop testing systems.
- Select and incorporate testing tools and instrumentation vital for HIL assessments.
- Manage and expand the hardware build and computational resources supporting our continuous integration workflows.
- Promote HIL testing efficiency by implementing best practices, improving tools, and refining processes.
- Ensure thorough documentation, automation, and security standards throughout deployment phases.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- Up to 2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Basic proficiency with Python, especially scripting and automation tasks.
- A strong willingness to learn about server infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and embedded system testing.
Preferred Experience
- Background with data acquisition systems or involvement with industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Familiarity with Linux system administration.
- Academic or practical interest in hardware-software integration, aerospace, aviation, or autonomous vehicles.
- Any knowledge of Rust programming language is highly beneficial.
Compliance with ITAR Regulations
Candidates must comply with U.S. Government export control regulations (ITAR). Eligible applicants include:
- U.S. citizens or nationals,

- Or individuals authorized by the U.S. Department of State.
