Role Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a 3–5 person Pod within our Engineering team. This role involves end-to-end delivery of high-priority projects using technologies such as Node.js, React, Golang, and AWS. The engineer will contribute to improving performance, shipping new features, and evolving our architecture, with a strong focus on integrating AI-powered capabilities. Collaboration with product, design, and senior engineers is essential, alongside participation in code reviews, production support, and continuous learning using AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end full-stack features in a collaborative Pod environment using technologies like Node.js, React, Golang, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and AWS.
- Design and maintain APIs, integrating with external services and databases ensuring data security and integrity.
- Create front-end interfaces emphasizing user experience, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Engage in AI-powered feature development and gradually increase contribution as expertise grows.
- Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to interpret requirements and influence design and UX decisions.
- Implement thorough unit and integration testing practices from the outset.
- Participate actively in code reviews to provide and gain constructive feedback.
- Share responsibilities in production support, including on-call rotations and bug triage to gain real-world software operation experience.
- Continuously explore new AI tools and full-stack development techniques to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Quickly ramp up on unfamiliar code areas with the support of AI tools, documentation, and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on project or internship experience.
- Strong passion for software craftsmanship demonstrated by personal projects, hackathons, or open source contributions.
- Good foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system operations with eagerness to deepen understanding.
- Comfortable working on frontend and backend, or a solid foundation in one with interest in expanding skills.
- Familiarity or strong interest in modern AI developer tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Proactive learning approach: reading documentation, tracing code, asking insightful questions, and contributing quickly.
- Ownership mindset with commitment to quality and impact beyond just completing tasks.
- Bonus: Experience with AI/ML projects, exposure to AI APIs or frameworks like OpenAI or LangChain, and an active GitHub presence showcasing curiosity and learning.
Additional Information
Compensation: Estimated salary range is $90,000 to $115,000 annually plus equity; actual pay depends on various factors including skills and experience.
