Primary Duties

• Maintain safety and security protocols, including proper lifting, clean workspaces, register management, emergency responses, theft prevention, and evacuation readiness.
• Address customer and team member concerns professionally, offering guidance to resolve issues and uphold a positive front-end atmosphere.
• Supervise front-end associate coverage and breaks to optimize customer service flow and support registers as needed.
• Provide training on company systems, scanning accuracy, productivity, initiatives, discount programs, EAS protocols, and safety measures.
• Manage transactions including purchases, returns, and exchanges; authorize when necessary and validate adherence to company procedures.
• Monitor EAS systems ensuring proper operation, correct merchandise deactivation, alarm handling, and accurate logging of deactivation failures.
• Prepare registers for operation, support cashiers with change, maintain cash levels, and conduct audits to ensure accuracy.
• Promote company-run programs such as credit card services, protection plans, charity efforts, and discount schemes.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working diverse shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, maintaining energy and focus.
• Carry out physical activities like standing for long durations, bending, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking and organizing with precision.
