Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers a chance to gain practical experience in a busy retail setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality by selecting fresh items and removing any damaged or unsuitable merchandise.
  • Complete all related documentation accurately, including pick slips and shipping labels.
  • Efficiently pack totes optimizing space while maintaining product safety and quality.
  • Provide customer support and collaborate with team members, balancing order fulfillment with positive interactions and issue resolution.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, food hygiene standards, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Operate equipment safely, perform safety checks, and contribute suggestions to enhance processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to maintain smooth store operations.

Challenges in the Role

  • Manage high volumes of tasks within a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts.
  • Plan and manage energy levels to sustain focus throughout shifts.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.15 CAD.
