Barista

Role Overview

We seek a motivated Barista to join our team providing expertly crafted beverages and outstanding service on a full-time basis, working 35 hours weekly. This role offers opportunities for growth within a company devoted to developing its people, celebrating diversity, and rewarding dedication.

Working Hours

Your schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday daytime shifts.

Primary Duties

• Prepare expertly blended drinks and serve quality food items that delight customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Handle payments via cash and card transactions efficiently
• Collaborate enthusiastically as a team member and communicate effectively
• Manage inventory of clean cups and plates to ensure smooth service
• Develop knowledge in brewing techniques, beverage blends, and food presentation
• Inspect brewing equipment regularly and communicate maintenance needs promptly
• Uphold a positive brand image representing the company with professionalism
• Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines diligently

Candidate Profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport easily
• Prior customer service experience is preferred
• Motivated to deliver excellence and take initiative
• Hands-on familiarity with coffee brewing equipment
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Strong punctuality and reliability
