Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organised WIP Coordinator to join the Hydraulics Workshop team in Tomago, NSW, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves overseeing the management of Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure smooth operational flow, timely completion of tasks, and precise invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor job schedules, associated costs, and progress to guarantee prompt and accurate invoicing of work orders.
- Manage and coordinate all Work in Progress activities within the Hydraulics Workshop.
- Generate comprehensive WIP reports and contribute to forecasting tasks.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers and internal teams concerning job status.
- Support the processes of quoting, invoicing, and warranty handling.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure full adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven background in invoicing, coordination, administrative, or planning roles within workshop or industrial settings.
- Exceptional organisational abilities coupled with keen attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with complex ERP or software systems.
- Knowledge or exposure to heavy equipment, hydraulics, or mechanical services is considered an advantage.
