About the Role
In this position, you will oversee commercial vehicle loan business for a defined territory, with accountability for sales growth, portfolio quality, and overall profitability. The role involves active field coverage, relationship building, cross-selling, and careful tracking of collections and documentation. You will also contribute to expanding the bank’s presence in the construction equipment loan space.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet monthly targets across key business metrics, including unit and loan-value growth, pricing/ROI, insurance cross-sell, fee income, post-disbursement documentation, and collections.
- Drive steady improvement in the size and profitability of the construction equipment loan portfolio.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Visit the assigned territory regularly to support business development and strengthen customer engagement.
- Keep the portfolio healthy and profitable through continuous review and timely corrective action.
Education
- Any graduate is eligible.
- A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales or portfolio management in commercial vehicle or construction equipment lending.
- Experience in field operations and customer relationship management is an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong focus on sales performance and target achievement.
- Comfort with collection tracking and documentation follow-up.
- Readiness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
