About the Role

Our client, a prominent professional services organization specializing in audit, tax, advisory, assurance, and business consulting, is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager. This role involves managing tax compliance and advisory engagements, delivering technical tax insights, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines, and providing effective tax solutions to various clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage tax compliance and advisory projects.
• Offer expert advice on corporate, individual, withholding, VAT, and other relevant tax matters.
• Examine tax computations, returns, and accompanying documentation for accuracy.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and evaluate their implications for clients.
• Support and represent clients during tax audits, examinations, and conflict resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and suggest suitable strategies.
• Lead, coach, and foster growth among tax department team members.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
• Guarantee timely delivery of tax-related tasks and assignments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent credential.
• At least five years of substantial tax experience, ideally within a professional services or consultancy setting.
• Thorough understanding of relevant tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, advisory services, and participation in tax audits.
• Strong analytical capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Commitment to integrity, keen attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
