About the Role
The Senior Team Lead position at Heaven Institute of Renewable Energy (H.I.R.E.) is designed as a part-time, hybrid role located in Al Ain, allowing flexible work arrangements including remote work. This role is responsible for leading teams managing a range of projects such as educational programs, workshops, and research ventures focused on renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate team activities to ensure project objectives and deadlines are successfully met.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team progress throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate actively with external stakeholders to enhance program engagement and delivery.
- Support the development and refinement of curriculum and educational programs in the renewable energy sector.
- Inform strategic planning efforts that amplify H.I.R.E.'s influence in the renewable energy field.
- Provide mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and professional growth.
- Maintain transparent and continuous communication with all project stakeholders.
- Encourage a workplace culture driven by innovation, inclusivity, and ongoing improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills with experience steering cross-disciplinary teams and mentoring personnel.
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities, able to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic startup environment.
- Technical knowledge or experience in renewable energy, sustainability, or related fields, especially solar and wind energy technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for diverse internal teams and external partners.
- Background in education, training, or programming delivery such as workshops and industry outreach is highly valuable.
- Analytical mindset for evaluating data to drive improvements in program effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, management, or a related area; advanced qualifications or significant professional experience preferred.
- Adaptability to hybrid working conditions with proficiency in digital collaboration tools and a presence both onsite in Al Ain and remotely.
