Position Summary
The Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator role, based in Columbus, OH, provides comprehensive assistance across the Talent Acquisition department's activities including interview scheduling, candidate onboarding, and post-employment coordination. This position operates with some autonomy and requires accurate, timely execution of organizational and administrative tasks supporting the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists to facilitate an efficient and compliant recruitment process ensuring positive candidate engagement.
- Arrange and manage interview schedules aligning candidates, managers, and interview teams.
- Coordinate candidate travel arrangements and handle related reimbursement procedures when necessary.
- Guide candidates through hiring steps by overseeing application submission, completion of onboarding documents, and verification forms such as I-9.
- Audit recruiting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies.
- Conduct new hire orientations for designated locations as assigned.
- Manage scheduling and record-keeping for drug tests, physicals, background checks, and employment tests as applicable.
- Maintain on-site personnel files including original I-9s and job requisition files.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Six years of relevant experience encompassing various business settings, emphasizing confidentiality, maturity, discretion, judgment, and proactive initiative.
- Solid understanding of recruiting policies, full lifecycle hiring processes, and human resources procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for candidates.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Technologically proficient with recruiting systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborative team player with exceptional organizational skills able to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
