Senior Institutional Research and Market Analyst

About the Role

The Strategy and Future Department at Zayed University is seeking an experienced Senior Institutional Research and Market Analyst. This role focuses on executing institutional and market research activities, including analyzing market trends, conducting benchmarking studies, and developing predictive models. The goal is to support informed decision-making, improve competitiveness, and ensure the institution's strategies align with rules, regulations, standards, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, and analyze market data alongside institutional data to aid market positioning efforts.
• Perform comparative analyses between institutional performance and sector-wide best practices and market trends.
• Produce analytical reports highlighting market factors that influence strategic decisions related to growth, competitiveness, and partnerships.
• Create and implement forecasting models to predict industry trends, labor market changes, and competitor activities.
• Deliver business intelligence insights by integrating market and institutional information to guide strategic initiatives.
• Maintain dashboards combining internal metrics with external market indicators for comprehensive institutional performance monitoring.
• Assist in survey design, administration, dissemination, and evaluation focusing on course assessments, market perceptions, employer feedback, and stakeholder expectations, using Explorance Blue tools.
• Ensure all research efforts comply with data governance, privacy standards, and university policies.
• Collaborate with different teams to merge internal and external data for strategic insights.
• Contribute to institutional reporting to government bodies, accreditation agencies, rankings, and benchmarking groups, ensuring accurate data submission and compliance.
• Create and update institutional data repositories and historical datasets to support ongoing longitudinal studies.
• Manage data collection and preparation for the annual FactBook publication.
• Perform additional tasks related to the position as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role; or a Master's Degree with 6 years of experience including 2 years supervising.
• Relevant professional certification is desirable.
• Certification in Explorance Blue is preferred.
