Job Overview
This position entails the preparation and management of departmental budgets, continuous monitoring of expenditures, delivery of financial reports, and the implementation of effective cost-control measures throughout the fiscal year.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of four years' experience in budgeting, costing, and planning activities within the oil and gas sector, preferably at an advanced level.
- At least three years spent in a commercial role focused on cost management and planning.
- Familiarity with SAP software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in PC operations, including competency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Business Intelligence analytics tools.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Professional certifications such as CIMA, CPA, or equivalents are highly desirable. Advanced studies in Professional Accounting, Cost Engineering, and Systems Analysis are also recommended.
