Senior Budget and Recovery Controller

Job Overview

This position entails the preparation and management of departmental budgets, continuous monitoring of expenditures, delivery of financial reports, and the implementation of effective cost-control measures throughout the fiscal year.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of four years' experience in budgeting, costing, and planning activities within the oil and gas sector, preferably at an advanced level.
• At least three years spent in a commercial role focused on cost management and planning.
• Familiarity with SAP software is advantageous.
• Proficiency in PC operations, including competency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Business Intelligence analytics tools.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CIMA, CPA, or equivalents are highly desirable. Advanced studies in Professional Accounting, Cost Engineering, and Systems Analysis are also recommended.
