Position Purpose

The Operations Planning and Store Processes team focuses on managing expenses, boosting profits, increasing sales, and improving customer and partner satisfaction via analytical tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced analytics and programming to extract meaningful insights from large datasets to identify performance drivers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to discover new analyses enhancing understanding of initiatives, customer and partner behavior, and growth opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and modeling related to workforce management issues such as wage impacts and staffing levels.
• Support strategic decision-making by developing precise financial models and providing actionable recommendations to optimize customer/partner acquisition, retention, and operational results.
• Innovate and apply new analytic methodologies to address complex business challenges.
• Communicate complex data findings clearly through compelling visualizations and presentations to business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Design automated dashboards to measure and track key customer and partner metrics effectively.
• Lead cross-functional projects from scope through execution and training, collaborating with teams in IT, Merchandising, and Marketing.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and creativity to tackle critical issues and expand analytical capabilities.

Additional Details

The role requires independent decision-making aligned with corporate objectives, minimal supervision, and managing multiple projects with varied deadlines. There is no direct supervisory responsibility, but the position involves collaboration and leadership across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related business field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in analytics roles.
• Proficiency with data warehouses, reporting platforms, and statistical languages such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and SQL.
• Expert-level skills in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, macros, and dashboards.
• Experience integrating large datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong presentation skills with tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Ability and willingness to learn new analytic and data manipulation techniques.
• Retail industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially in interacting with senior management.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
