Role Overview
The Senior Analyst will join the Financial Control team within the Omnium Services Group EMEA. This dynamic position offers exposure to a fast-paced work environment servicing sophisticated clients and provides opportunities to work with diverse product types across sectors. The role includes managing the entire lifecycle of client trade execution to gain comprehensive insight into hedge fund administration and collaboration with various shared service teams within Hedge Fund Services (HFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly operating expenses for multiple funds.
- Produce and evaluate month-end Close Packs for clients on scheduled intervals.
- Validate Monthly NAV figures and related accounting documentation.
- Engage proactively with clients to understand fund-specific operations.
- Collaborate with HFS teams supporting initiatives such as fund launches and transitions.
- Allocate profits and losses across investors’ share classes and series accurately.
- Calculate and verify management fees and performance fees for various share classes.
- Coordinate with Investor Services to ensure accurate and timely issuance of investor statements.
- Contribute to preparation and review of annual financial statements for funds, working alongside external auditors to ensure precision.
- Support shared services in completing audit requests promptly.
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly preparation and review of regulatory reporting for relevant funds.
- Participate in projects enhancing HFS regulatory reporting capabilities for MMIFs, FVCs, and SPVs.
Candidate Benefits and Qualifications
- Interest or progress towards professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA is preferable but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hedge funds and alternative investment structures is advantageous.
- Prior experience in financial services and client service roles is beneficial.
