Job description

Role Overview

As a Regional Support Coordinator with MyIntegra, you will support NDIS participants by evaluating their needs and coordinating necessary services under the NDIS framework. This position is primarily remote; however, it requires the appointee to be located in Darwin, Northern Territory, since occasional in-person visits with participants will be necessary.

Key Duties

  • Support NDIS participants in the effective implementation and coordination of their NDIS plans and corresponding services.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are accurately completed and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with quasi-government organizations and disability-related groups.
  • Proactively cultivate and maintain these networks to advance service delivery.
  • Represent MyIntegra in promoting support coordination services to the market, which includes giving presentations to various stakeholders like Local Area Coordinators, Disability Service Providers, and participant networks.

  • Strong empathy and dedication to supporting people with disabilities.
  • Confident in delivering presentations and responding to diverse questions from groups and individuals.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Skillful in client engagement and generating leads from inquiries.
  • Expertise in fostering and preserving stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel for client visits as necessary.
  • Experience ranging from six months to one year as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
  • Qualifications including Allied Health credentials or at least Certificate IV in Allied Health, Disability, Aged Care, or a closely related field.
  • Familiarity or experience with complex family health matters is advantageous.
  • Completion of an NDIS Worker Screening Check and possession of a current Working with Children Check are mandatory.
