Position Summary

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is seeking a Scheduler/Admin Assistant to support the diagnostic imaging department. This role involves registering incoming patients and coordinating appointments for all diagnostic imaging services by understanding various imaging modalities. The candidate will ensure all necessary information is available for smooth scheduling and compliance with insurance pre-certifications and medical necessity criteria. Familiarity with medical terminology and clear communication with patients, physicians, and radiologists is essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Compile daily physician logs, track film readings, distribute report copies upon request, and direct billing inquiries appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working within a healthcare environment.
  • Between six to twelve months of relevant experience in similar roles.
