Role Overview
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a proactive and energetic Project Support Officer to join the Outpatient Booking Services team. This position is focused on ensuring efficient delivery and continuous improvement of outpatient services by managing clinic templates and maintaining digital appointment systems including electronic correspondence and messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely create, update, and maintain outpatient clinic templates in line with departmental standards.
- Support and manage electronic appointment systems, such as sending appointment letters, SMS, and voice messages.
- Provide consistent support for digital platforms including Attend Anywhere and the NHS e-Referral Service, ensuring these are optimally used to improve patient access.
- Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with outpatient booking teams, stakeholders, digital health informatics, and divisional colleagues to facilitate service improvements.
- Assist in daily outpatient booking operations and contribute to implementation of service enhancements and future-facing developments.
- Analyse data, prepare reports, and present findings to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Conduct audits and participate in incident investigations to ensure data integrity and compliance with protocols.
- Champion equality, diversity, and professionalism in all activities and interactions.
