Position Overview
The Mobility team plays a crucial role in supporting seamless global employee transitions, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and providing comprehensive relocation assistance. They work closely with vendors to optimize relocation logistics and continually improve compliance processes related to remote work and business travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert legal and strategic advice on immigration compliance to clients.
- Oversee immigration compliance related to Remote’s products and services.
- Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Initiate and manage in-house immigration services to enhance revenue, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit visa and work permit applications independently.
- Stay current with immigration laws and regulatory changes, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Address escalations appropriately, escalating as needed for senior review, and guide stakeholders to timely solutions.
- Advise on travel requirements and immigration procedures, acting as the point of contact for business travel and sponsorship issues.
- Effectively manage case statuses using case management and billing platforms.
- Utilize in-depth immigration knowledge to provide solutions for complex cases.
- Work independently with ownership of daily activities while supporting team collaboration.
- Drive process improvements through automation and comprehensive documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in immigration compliance or global mobility roles, with a strong emphasis on immigration expertise.
- Thorough understanding of immigration processes and compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, dynamic work setting.
- Composure and efficiency under pressure, especially during peak workload periods.
- Background in technology or rapidly scaling companies is highly valued.
- Adaptable team player capable of adjusting to shifting priorities and procedures.
- Proven customer-facing experience with superior communication skills and cross-cultural interaction abilities.
- Genuine enthusiasm for expanding knowledge of global immigration legislation.
- Remote or asynchronous work experience preferred.
- Fluent English communication; additional languages considered a plus.
Work Environment and Additional Details
- Reporting directly to the Mobility Manager within the APAC region.
- Role is fully remote with flexible scheduling consistent with asynchronous work principles.

- Remuneration ranges annually from $29,450 to $74,500 USD, with geographic pay differentials considered.
