Role Overview
This opportunity is for an Account Executive covering the DACH region within the Sales team. It is a hunter-focused position centered on winning new business rather than managing existing accounts. The role is designed for someone who can build a pipeline, qualify opportunities, and convert prospects into customers while contributing to growth in the global employment space.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and advance new business opportunities, including detailed notes and realistic close dates.
- Own the sales process from initial prospecting through to signed deal.
- Consistently work toward and exceed quota targets based on role level.
- Keep the pipeline organized, active, and focused on high-volume, fast-moving deals.
- Deliver product and service information clearly and confidently to prospects.
- Respond quickly to client questions and follow-up requests during the sales process.
- Work closely with internal teams that support customer experience and deal execution.
- Guide prospects through closing while maintaining a helpful and professional approach.
- Understand the needs of small and mid-sized businesses and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Generate leads through outbound channels such as calls, visits, networking, and industry events.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as an Account Executive in a new business role, or in a comparable SaaS sales position.
- Strong record of developing relationships with decision-makers and key champions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- German fluency at native or professional level, along with strong English speaking and writing skills.
- Solid grasp of sales methodology, qualification, deal closing, and opportunity management.
- Ability to build an outbound pipeline using multiple channels, including cold calling.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a self-driven working style.
- Comfort working independently while also contributing actively to a team.
- Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Sound understanding of the company’s services and market positioning.
- Confidence in building client trust and acting as a consultative advisor.
- Ability to forecast sales and work toward monthly targets.
- Background in the HR industry is an advantage.
- Remote work experience is not mandatory, but it is considered beneficial.
Working Arrangements
The position is fully remote and can be done from anywhere. The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Sales - DACH and join the Sales team. The expected start date is as soon as possible.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary structure designed around fair, location-aware pay. The annual base salary range for this full-time position is EUR 110,000 to EUR 150,000. The company also emphasizes equitable compensation, internal mobility, and compensation reviews tied to role changes.
