Job Overview
This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance at the factory level and managing harmonious industrial and employee relations. The candidate will supervise statutory adherence, coordinate with government regulators, handle employee grievances, and oversee contractual labor compliance and apprentice engagement. Additionally, the role includes welfare coordination and conducting performance management and behavioral training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory norms at the plant, keeping records audit-ready.
- Resolve PF pension matters efficiently with the RPFC through follow-ups and case closures.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary documentation or process modifications promptly.
- Act as liaison with government bodies for timely filings, renewals, and compliance submissions.
- Promote and sustain positive industrial and employee relations, addressing grievances through systematic communication and resolution.
- Support the execution of the site’s employee relations strategy, ensuring consistency and equity.
- Manage legal matters including labor and industrial court cases by coordinating with legal counsel and internal teams, preparing documentation and submissions.
- Handle disciplinary processes by drafting notices and managing inquiry procedures as needed.
- Oversee compliance for vendor and factory contracts, ensuring regulatory adherence in contract labor deployment.
- Coordinate with vendors to manage workforce deployment in line with operational needs and budgeted headcount.
- Supervise contractual workforce attendance records for wage processing and compliance.
- Recruit and manage apprentices under NATS and NAPS schemes, coordinating with educational and training institutions and handling related compliance.
- Manage welfare activities such as distribution of safety equipment and facilitate employee mediclaim processes with the TPA.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals and issue increments or confirmations for staff and workmen.
- Plan and implement behavioral training programs to enhance staff and worker capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- 15 to 20 years of relevant work experience.
- Graduation and Post Graduation in Human Resources or related field.
