Internship Overview
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to IT support, designed for individuals without prior technical experience. Participants benefit from continuous mentorship and coaching aimed at building foundational knowledge and skills essential for a career in IT.
Key Learning Objectives
- Manage and administer software applications
- Create and delete user accounts securely
- Assemble and deploy computers tailored to client needs
- Address IT-related alerts from clients and troubleshoot technical issues
- Prioritize and assign incoming support tickets via the ticketing platform
- Efficiently resolve common "Fast Track" tickets using well-documented procedures
- Deliver outstanding customer service and technical assistance through phone and email
- Apply IT support best practices following ITIL V4 standards
Candidate Requirements
- Pursuing or completed an IT-related bachelor's degree
- Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication abilities, with a willingness to learn and collaborate within teams
- Analytical thinking and logical problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Personable demeanor demonstrated through effective communication and excellent phone etiquette under pressure
- Effective time management capabilities
- Experience in customer service
