Infor WFM Time and Attendance Consultant

Overview

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience working with the Infor Workforce Management (WFM) Time and Attendance application. The consultant will manage various modules within Infor WFM and must be proficient with the Infor OS Platform and its components such as ION, API Gateway, and Security.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Infor WFM Time and Attendance modules including setting up configuration rules like calculation groups, timecodes, hour types, shift guarantees, supplemental pay, and work details.
• Establish and maintain Infor data connections essential for integrations, data flows, connection points, mappings, and PGP encryption.
• Develop and manage job scheduler tasks within the WFM system.
• Write complex SQL queries and demonstrate a strong understanding of the Infor database schema.
• Utilize Interface transformers and Groovy scripting to synchronize tasks and interfaces with job scheduling.
• Handle migrations of configurations, data elements, Job Scheduler Tasks (JST), and other components across environments using Infor WFM’s migration tools.
• Leverage Cognos for database access to create, enhance, and maintain reports by writing SQL queries specifically for Infor WFM.
• Configure Timeclock device settings, including API utilization, authorized applications setup, token and security credentials management, and security profile creation.
• Administer Single Sign-On (SSO) management with federated identity within the OS security framework.
• Collaborate closely with Infor's product team for SaaS-related activities and support.
• Coordinate with source and downstream payroll systems such as S9 and SAP to ensure seamless integrations with Infor WFM.

Experience and Requirements

• Between 4 to 6+ years of hands-on experience with Infor WFM Time and Attendance implementations.
• Solid knowledge of Infor OS Platform, including ION, API Gateway, and security modules.
• Strong expertise in SQL and database table structures relevant to Infor WFM.
• Experience in scripting with Groovy and working with Interface transformers.
• Familiarity with migration processes within Infor WFM environments.
• Proficient in using Cognos for report development and enhancement.
• Experience setting up and securing Timeclock devices and handling API-related security credentials.
• Understanding of SSO mechanisms with federated identities under OS security.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with external teams including Infor SaaS support and payroll system teams.
