Peoplesoft Campus Solutions Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Techno-Functional Consultant to contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and upkeep of enterprise PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications. The candidate should blend strong functional knowledge of higher education operations with practical technical development skills, enabling the delivery of scalable and dependable business-driven solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and convert business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions enhancements and deployments.
• Design, develop, tailor, and maintain PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Packages, Workflow, and BI/XML Publisher.
• Configure and maintain critical Campus Solutions modules such as Student Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials, Campus Community, and associated business workflows.
• Execute system integration, troubleshooting, error resolution, testing, deployment, and production support while ensuring the application's performance and stability.
• Work collaboratively with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver enhancements, system upgrades, documentation, and continuous improvement of processes in line with SDLC methodologies.

General Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions in techno-functional consulting, development, or support roles.
• In-depth functional understanding of higher education business processes, especially within Student Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials, Campus Community, or other Campus Solutions modules.
• Experience encompassing the complete Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and support.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven techno-functional expertise with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions version 8.9 or higher, including solution analysis, configuration, customization, and support.
• Hands-on development skills using PeopleTools 8.58+ with proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Packages, Workflow, BI/XML Publisher, and other PeopleSoft technologies.
• Solid SQL development and database scripting abilities complemented by strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PeopleSoft system upgrades, integration projects, web services, APIs, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with secure software development, system security measures, data privacy standards, and structured project delivery frameworks.
• Background supporting higher education institutions, digital transformation efforts, or large-scale ERP modernization initiatives.
