Role Overview
The Human Resource Supervisor is tasked with managing the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, labor regulations, and established HR practices. This position underpins key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, and HR administration, while also offering support and direction to both staff and management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily work of the HR team and provide leadership and support.
- Assist in recruitment duties including publishing job listings, conducting interviews, selecting candidates, and facilitating onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems.
- Manage new hires and exit formalities, ensuring all documentation and system updates are completed.
- Handle employee relations issues and perform necessary investigations.
- Guarantee compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate performance reviews such as probation assessments and annual evaluations.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, overtime, and disciplinary measures.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and precise salary payments.
- Generate HR reports, analyze workforce data, and provide insights to management.
- Support employee engagement activities, training initiatives, and organizational development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to employee questions about HR policies, benefits, or employment concerns.
- Safeguard confidentiality of sensitive employee and HR information.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CIPD is beneficial.
- Between 6 and 10 years of comprehensive HR experience including a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Highly organized with strong time management expertise.
- Commitment to integrity and confidentiality in all HR matters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or equivalents.
- Analytical mindset with strong reporting competencies.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under pressure.

- Compliance with HR audits and documentation standards.
- Completion rate of performance appraisals.
