Qatar Airways invites applications for the position of HR Separations Coordinator based in Doha, Qatar. This role is a key part of the HR Systems and Administration team, responsible for managing the end-to-employment process efficiently and professionally across the Qatar Airways Group. The role involves supervising separation processes while ensuring high service standards and accurate, timely handling of employee separations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all end-of-employment formalities following resignation, termination, retirement, or absconding, including verification of notice periods, last working day, leave balances, and benefits such as leave encashment and allowances.
  • Handle acceptance and authorization of resignation and employment cessation documentation, coordinating with relevant departments and maintaining communication through official correspondence.
  • Update master employee records with the last working day and process employee clearances, following up on pending items diligently.
  • Coordinate with concerned departments regarding any employee recoveries or reimbursements relevant to final settlements.
  • Notify banks to secure clearance certificates and process travel requests regarding cargo entitlements as per senior management instructions.
  • Oversee full and final settlements and liaise with the finance department to ensure prompt payment processing.
  • Complete staff files including legal clearance letters, update separation registers, and ensure proper filing to officially close employee records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
