About the Role

The HR Business Partner (IA) is a versatile HR generalist dedicated to supporting the Unified Marketing teams across the company. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role partners closely with leadership and team members to align HR strategies with overall business objectives, foster a motivating workplace, and facilitate the growth of a world-class creative and innovative workforce within a leading global entertainment organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted consultant to leadership within Unified Marketing, delivering strategic, data-driven HR guidance and forecasting workforce needs and trends.
• Work independently, provide mentorship to junior HR colleagues, and lead small risk-managed projects that enhance organizational effectiveness and talent development.
• Collaborate with leaders to synchronize business goals with employee needs through integrated HR initiatives supporting enterprise-wide programs.
• Anticipate workforce demands and emerging HR trends, offering recommendations that incite fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
• Support change management efforts, helping teams navigate uncertainty through creative problem-solving in HR and organizational challenges.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to assess risks and develop insights influencing talent management, organizational design, and employee experience strategies.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships across the enterprise, acting as a resource and mentor while cultivating an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
• Integrate various HR processes such as talent management, employee relations, and organizational development to enhance leadership effectiveness and staff engagement in marketing and corporate divisions.
• Leverage digital tools and HR systems to optimize business support, improve operational efficiency, and drive enhanced people outcomes. Lead or contribute to projects aligned with company and HR objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources or as an HR Business Partner.
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Strong HR generalist skills with the ability to independently resolve complex issues and introduce novel solutions.
• Excellent consulting, relationship-building, and communication abilities capable of influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficient in interpreting HR data and trends, capable of developing pragmatic solutions.
• Skilled in presenting complex information clearly to varied audiences.
• Adept at managing ambiguity, balancing priorities, and adapting to dynamic environments.
• Experience partnering with corporate or marketing functions, understanding HR’s role in supporting business and campaign success.
• Competency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for analysis and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across the entire employee lifecycle including organizational development, learning, talent acquisition, total rewards, diversity & inclusion, employee and labor relations.
• Background supporting marketing, creative, or enterprise teams within large, matrixed organizations.
• Familiarity with HR technologies that enhance reporting, processes, and employee engagement.
• Advanced degrees related to HR, Business, or Organizational Development.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position located in Burbank, California is from $115,300 to $140,900 annually. Actual salaries will consider factors such as geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience, maintaining internal pay equity. The compensation package may also include bonuses or long-term incentives along with a comprehensive suite of medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the position level.
