Role Overview

The Health and Safety Executive ensures adherence to safety and security protocols within the school environment, delivering clear communication to students, staff, and visitors about policies and consequences for non-compliance.

Key Duties

• Communicate safety and security policies and enforcement measures to students, staff, and visitors to guarantee understanding and highlight the repercussions of violations.
• Organize and supervise emergency drills including fire drills and lockdowns aligning with established standards.
• Escort students, personnel, and visitors to provide safety directions and maintain site security.
• Keep comprehensive records such as schedules, incident documentation, and emergency drill logs for future access and compliance auditing.
• Oversee student conduct during class periods, breaks, and events, ensuring adherence to rules and fostering a secure, positive learning environment.
• Engage actively in meetings, training sessions, and hearings to exchange essential information supporting job responsibilities.
• Conduct regular patrols of school premises including grounds, buildings, and parking areas to uphold visibility, security, and deter unlawful activities.
• Document activities and incidents through formal written reports for reference and communication purposes.
• Manage traffic and parking to maintain smooth flow and optimal use of parking facilities.
