Job Description

As the Head of Data, AI & Analytics, you will spearhead the definition and execution of Gallagher's enterprise data, AI, and analytics strategy, operating models, and transformation roadmap. You will lead the development and maturation of governance, engineering, analytics, and AI capabilities, while ensuring responsible adoption of emerging technologies to generate tangible business benefits.

Working in close partnership with the CIO, Architecture, Cyber Security, business leaders, and technology partners, you will build scalable data platforms, enhance enterprise governance, and unlock new insights through analytics and AI. Your responsibilities will include modernizing platforms involving Azure, Databricks, SAP, and fostering a genuinely data-driven culture that supports Gallagher's ambitious global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the enterprise data, AI, and analytics strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Develop and advance enterprise-level data governance, quality, and stewardship programs.
• Drive enhancement of cloud data platforms spanning Azure, Databricks, SAP, and Power BI.
• Promote the application of AI, advanced analytics, and data science to achieve measurable business results.
• Collaborate with business leaders to provide trusted insights, reporting, and predictive analytics that unlock value.
• Lead initiatives on responsible AI, prioritizing governance, ethical standards, and regulatory adherence.
• Mentor and inspire a high-performing Data, AI & Analytics team while building enterprise-wide data capabilities.
• Continually improve data maturity, platform efficiency, and enhance enterprise decision-making processes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate combines strategic foresight, technical expertise, and strong commercial acumen. Experience building enterprise data capabilities from the ground up while establishing governance, platforms, and a data-centric culture is essential. Proven ability to influence executive leadership, inspire teams, and uphold responsible AI principles is highly valued. This role requires a focus on delivering business value through data and technology implementation rather than technological innovation alone.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive leadership experience in enterprise data, analytics, or AI roles within complex international organizations.
• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise data strategies, governance frameworks, and large transformation projects.
• Expert knowledge of Azure data services, Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, SAP data environments, and Power BI.
• Experience establishing robust data governance, quality control, metadata management, and stewardship processes at an enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, advanced analytics, and frameworks for responsible AI governance.
• Commercial insight with the ability to quantify and demonstrate business value from data and technology initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
