Opportunity Overview

This role is ideal for Dietitians who are registered, pending HCPC registration, or soon to graduate, wishing to join one of the UK's largest acute teaching trusts. The position invites motivated candidates eager to enhance their clinical expertise and communication capabilities.

Team and Workplace

You will become part of a large, dynamic, and welcoming Dietetic and Nutrition department, primarily at Glenfield Hospital or Leicester Royal Infirmary, with possible duties at Leicester General Hospital supported by hospital transport availability.

Clinical Exposure and Responsibilities

Your work will span multiple acute inpatient wards including acute medicine, general medicine, infection diseases, diabetes, spinal surgery, gynecological surgery, urology, trauma and orthopedics, cardiorespiratory, thoracic, vascular, and geriatric care. Additionally, you will engage in outpatient clinics, structured education for patients, training healthcare professionals, and developing patient information materials. Involvement with the department’s social media platforms is also offered.
