Food Service Supervisor

Overview

This role requires overseeing food service operations at a restaurant location, ensuring efficient scheduling, quality control, and staff supervision. English language proficiency is necessary.

Education & Experience

• Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent experience
• Between 12 to 24 months of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to achieve work schedules effectively
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel responsible for food preparation and portioning
• Provide training to staff regarding their duties, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Calculate required ingredients and supplies for meal production
• Ensure food quality and service meet established standards
• Prepare financial budgets and cost projections
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints
• Maintain detailed records including stock, repairs, sales, and food wastage
• Compile and submit operational reports
• Oversee and verify the assembly of service trays
• Create and manage staff work schedules
