Executive - Quality (Aerospace)

Overview

The Quality Executive role demands oversight and assurance of compliance with aerospace quality standards, specifically AS9100, within Aerospace Assembly operations. The incumbent will maintain airworthiness standards, supervise inspection procedures, and champion continuous enhancement of assembly processes, all while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee inspections of aeronautical components and assemblies, confirming adherence to aerospace quality standards.
• Manage inspection and testing procedures for structural assemblies, including dimensional verification and non-destructive testing techniques.
• Ensure thorough documentation of inspection outcomes, audits, and compliance evidence to facilitate traceability and certification.
• Guarantee compliance with Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other pertinent aerospace regulations.
• Lead improvement activities leveraging Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to minimize defects and boost operational efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and direction to inspectors, technicians, and engineers on quality control practices and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers to verify that incoming materials conform to aerospace-grade standards.
• Engage directly with clients during quality audits, inspections, and reviews to foster trust and ensure satisfaction.
