Equipment Technician

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Equipment Technician will be responsible for handling various SMT machines including SPI, Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI. This role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of SMT equipment as well as managing machine tossing control and spare parts. The technician will contribute to new product development, perform process capability studies like CPK and GRR, and participate in machine installation activities.

Ensuring that all production stations meet the company’s quality standards is crucial. The technician will collaborate with line engineers, managers, and supervisors to develop and sustain work schedules that guarantee 100% on-time delivery to main production lines. Continuous effort will be directed toward improving product quality aiming for zero defects through daily interactions with line teams.

The role also includes maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and supervising personnel. The technician must verify that equipment and tools are in good working order and readily available when needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in line installation, equipment alignment, and bring-up activities.
• Experience in programming FUJI Mounter machines and optimizing cycle times.
• Strong abilities in breakdown analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of SMT equipment.
• Diploma qualification is required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SMT equipment maintenance.
