Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup, qualification, and upkeep of analytical and failure analysis equipment essential to semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and resolve operational issues to maximize equipment availability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with process engineers, R&D, and quality assurance teams to address equipment-related issues affecting product yield and efficiency.
- Liaise with equipment vendors and suppliers for service, upgrades, and inventory management of spare parts.
- Track equipment performance metrics, evaluate trends, and lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize operational efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation, equipment logs, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational protocols.
- Provide training to technicians and engineers on proper equipment operation, maintenance cycles, and industry best practices.
- Support laboratory workflows and contribute to strategic equipment optimization initiatives.
- Travel may be necessary as part of job requirements.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor equipment functioning and maintenance protocols.
- Advantageous to have familiarity with vacuum technologies, automation systems, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Preferred understanding of semiconductor production methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts and adhere to deadlines effectively.
Experience Requirements
- Between 2 to over 5 years of relevant experience within the semiconductor industry or analytical laboratory environment.
- Practical experience in equipment installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to analytical and failure analysis instrumentation is a valued asset.
- Demonstrated capability to resolve equipment-related challenges through effective problem solving.
