Job Overview

We seek a Director of Operations to strategically oversee all daily functions of our prestigious 5-star luxury resort located in Doha, Qatar. As the key deputy to the General Manager, the role entails ensuring excellence in guest services, property upkeep, and financial results across all operational areas, with a strong emphasis on high-volume luxury Food & Beverage operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the principal second-in-command to the General Manager, taking full control of resort operations and decisions during their absence.
  • Align operational strategies for nine departments to meet or exceed standards of 5-star luxury hospitality, including compliance with elite benchmarks such as Forbes Travel Guide and Leading Hotels of the World.
  • Enhance profitability by optimizing revenue streams, labor utilization, and managing operational costs across all divisions.
  • Directly manage and be financially responsible for the Rooms & Guest Experience division (Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry), ensuring pristine resort presentation, rigorous inventory management, and outstanding guest arrivals and departures.
  • Lead Food & Beverage outlets and kitchens to strengthen the culinary brand, boost revenue from banquets and outlets, and maintain top-tier food safety and cost efficiency, leveraging deep background in luxury F&B.
  • Oversee Spa and Recreation departments in delivering luxury wellness services, engaging guest activities, and sustaining spa profitability.
