Job description
Role Overview
Two 12-month fixed-term positions are open for Court Registry Officers in the Hawke's Bay region. The role involves working collaboratively within a team to ensure the Court functions efficiently. It requires interaction with a variety of stakeholders such as applicants, respondents, family members, lawyers, Oranga Tamariki, and communication with Judges both in court and chambers.
Key Duties
- Facilitating court proceedings by coordinating court operations including Judge introductions in both English and Te Reo Māori, assisting in the courtroom and chambers, and handling general court administration.
- Delivering excellent customer service through face-to-face, phone, and email engagements at the court's customer service hub.
- Managing case files accurately with thorough data entry, ensuring all court information is up to date and precise.

Compensation
The annual salary range is $60,729 to $80,794, with remuneration being commensurate with experience and skills. Higher offers within the salary band are considered to attract strong candidates.
