About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Collection Executive to oversee management of overdue accounts. This role involves leading a team specialized in debt recovery and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Key Duties
- Handle and prioritize collections for delinquent account portfolios.
- Guide, support, and evaluate a team of collection agents to meet performance objectives.
- Conduct negotiations with debtors, including handling intricate payment discussions.
- Maintain strict compliance with collection regulations such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
- Prepare reports detailing collection progress and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Preferably a bachelor's degree holder.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in debt collection and recovery.
- Thorough understanding of collections laws and policies.
- Strong negotiation capabilities and proven leadership skills.
- Familiarity with collection management software.
- Highly detail-focused with excellent organizational abilities.
- Possession of DRA certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Gujarati language is mandatory.
