Broadcast Intern (Season-long)

About the Role

The Miami HEAT Broadcast Department is offering an internship where students or recent graduates can gain practical experience working alongside a professional NBA broadcast team. This opportunity is tailored for those interested in roles like producer, director, editor, or television production assistant.

Responsibilities

• Cataloging and organizing footage from games and studio sessions
• Conducting research to enhance live broadcasts
• Supporting basic video editing tasks
• Assisting producers, directors, and editors with daily production operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Currently enrolled in a university or technical college, or graduated within the last 12 months
• Alternatively, possessing at least 12 months of relevant work experience

Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to collaborate well with team members and seek guidance when needed
• Exceptional organization skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and adjust quickly in a fast-moving production environment

Additional Information

• Availability required from August 3, 2026, to May 15, 2027, committing to 24 hours weekly
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with all shifts conducted at the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL
• Capability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
