Role Overview
At Rosewood AMAALA in Saudi Arabia, we are seeking a Bartender specialized in non-alcoholic mixology. This role centers on curating luxury, alcohol-free beverage experiences that emphasize wellness and sustainability. The position involves crafting sophisticated mocktails, herbal teas, functional drinks, and artisanal coffees that embody Rosewood's commitment to Relationship Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guests with personalized and engaging service tailored to their tastes and wellness preferences.
- Suggest custom non-alcoholic drinks that cater to individual guest needs.
- Enrich guest experience by sharing stories about the ingredients, flavors, and inspirations behind each beverage.
- Maintain a refined and confident presence consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.
- Prepare a wide variety of premium alcohol-free beverages including signature mocktails, fresh juices, cold-pressed blends, herbal infusions, teas, functional wellness drinks, specialty coffees, and handcrafted beverages.
- Innovate and design new drinks influenced by local ingredients and worldwide trends.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all drinks served.
- Keep the bar clean, hygienic, and visually appealing at all times.
- Track inventory for fresh produce, syrups, garnishes, and specialty materials, managing stock efficiently.
- Reduce waste and oversee proper storage of perishable ingredients.
- Adhere strictly to set recipes and portion guidelines.
- Demonstrate expertise in flavor profiling, pairing, and knowledge of herbs, botanicals, superfoods, specialty teas, coffees, and infusions.
- Stay informed about global trends in non-alcoholic mixology and wellness beverages.
- Work collaboratively with culinary and wellness teams to deliver integrated guest experiences.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess 2 to 4 years of experience in a luxury hotel, upscale café, juice bar, or wellness-centric beverage establishment.
- Holding certifications in mixology, barista skills, or related beverage preparation is a plus.
- Prior experience specifically in non-alcoholic mixology or wellness drink creation is highly desirable.
- Experience working during venue pre-opening phases is advantageous.
