Adventure Park Supervisor

Position Overview

Join Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, part of the internationally renowned Minor Hotels group, as an Adventure Park Supervisor. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience within the adventure park setting.

Primary Duties

• Oversee all operational functions of the adventure park, including rides, climbing walls, zip lines, obstacle courses, and guest zones.
• Lead and coordinate the operational team by scheduling shifts and supporting their performance to uphold top-notch customer service and adherence to safety practices.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment, attractions, and facilities to maintain optimal safety standards.
• Provide thorough safety briefings to all visitors and enforce park regulations and procedures effectively.
• Handle incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns swiftly and professionally.
• Manage guest flow, staffing, and operational processes effectively during busy periods.
• Train new hires on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and emergency handling processes.
• Keep detailed records of operations, including incident reports and equipment maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to promptly resolve technical or safety issues and reduce downtime.
• Ensure park cleanliness and upkeep meet high standards consistently.
• Support other functions such as ticketing, events management, and group activities when necessary.
• Assist management with achieving financial, guest satisfaction, and operational objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background in hospitality, recreation management, sports management, or related disciplines (Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in supervisory roles within adventure, amusement, or recreational park environments or comparable hospitality settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety rules and operational workflows.
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Capable of maintaining composure and exercising sound judgment under pressure.
• Preferred certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Willingness to work varied schedules including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
