About the Role
We are seeking a skilled administrative professional to join a leading financial client in a fast-paced and cooperative environment. This contract position involves delivering extensive administrative assistance to senior management, facilitating smooth daily operations and excellent client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate executives' and support team calendars efficiently.
- Organize meetings by securing venues, preparing necessary materials, and managing equipment arrangements.
- Help plan and execute team activities such as events, town halls, and celebrations.
- Create accurate reports, presentations, correspondence, and other documentation on time.
- Handle incoming inquiries from both inside and outside the organization, prioritizing and redirecting appropriately.
- Enhance team communication and collaboration using Microsoft Office tools and Teams.
- Maintain confidential and well-organized filing systems.
- Assist with training and onboarding processes for new employees.
- Work together with other Administrative Assistants and leadership to improve operational workflows.
- Perform special projects and various ad hoc administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams at an advanced level.
- Capability to work independently while managing several priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Effective multitasking and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A proactive approach with the foresight to anticipate needs.
- Demonstrated initiative and accountability in handling duties.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this role is CAD 17.60 to 22.38.
