Job description
Overview
This role is dedicated to spearheading the development and coordination of Learning & Development programs as an integral part of the organization's People and Culture strategy. The aim is to attract, engage, nurture, and retain talented individuals by fostering a culture of continuous learning throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of the Group Learning and Development Strategy, embedding best practice training and development processes and systems aligned with organizational objectives and within the allocated budget.
- Implement talent management priorities focused on attracting and retaining high-potential talent consistent with the People and Culture Strategy.
- Regularly review and update the Learning Needs Analysis and roll out training initiatives to support ongoing professional growth.
- Oversee the company’s Learning Management System, ensuring effective delivery of online learning opportunities and encouraging active engagement with the LinkedIn Learning platform.
- Facilitate mentoring and coaching programs to enhance employee performance and potential realization.
- Coordinate training efforts aligned with organizational change initiatives and the adoption of new work practices.
- Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives permeating HR processes like recruitment, talent management, and culture-building activities.
- Provide data-driven reports on training effectiveness and alignment with business goals to foster continuous improvement and maximize return on investment.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Data Analytics, and Business Analyst teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the Learning Management System.
- Support Health and Safety and Internal Audit teams in delivering their specific training programs.
- Identify and coordinate third-party funding sources, including partnerships with ETBs, Skillnets, and Enterprise Ireland, to support quality workforce training initiatives.

- Demonstrated success in executing talent development strategies to build internal capabilities and core competencies.
- Sound commercial awareness paired with an understanding of business environments.
