Role Overview

This contract opportunity is for an Operations Program Manager II who can work remotely and independently in the United States without sponsorship. The assignment is expected to last 12 months, with a target start as soon as possible, though the start date may change and official confirmation will be provided separately.

The position is a full-time contract role requiring at least 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $45 per hour.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will own day-to-day delivery for 3P retail and telecom repair/maintenance, along with supply fulfillment and warehouse operations across North America. You will coordinate external warehouse and service partners, monitor performance, improve workflows, and make sure materials, records, and service execution align with business requirements.

The role calls for a practical operations leader with a background in retail operations, vendor or 3PL management, repair and maintenance, warehouse execution, and continuous improvement. You will work with internal teams and outside partners to keep operations running smoothly, address escalations, maintain compliance, and support scalable process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily execution with warehouse agencies and service partners throughout North America, with a focus on quality, speed, compliance, and service outcomes.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions, recurring compliance issues, documentation quality, and audit preparedness.
  • Turn improvement insights into standard operating procedures, training content, and repeatable operating workflows.
  • Lead enhancements in repair, maintenance, and warehouse operations to improve efficiency, space usage, cost performance, and consistency.
  • Work with suppliers, carriers, and 3PL partners to resolve issues related to materials, shipping, and service delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Physical Merchandising, Field Merchandising, Demo Tech, Retail Sales, Finance, Procurement, external agencies, and retail partners.
  • Support new product launches, retail refresh work, OPEX planning, operational expansion, special projects, and occasional extended working hours.

Schedule and Working Conditions

Working hours are either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST. The role may occasionally require extended operational hours. Travel within the United States and Canada is required as business needs dictate.

Required Background

You should bring at least 3 years of experience in program or project management within retail operations, supply chain, logistics, or a closely related area. You also need at least 3 years of experience in repair and maintenance, supply fulfillment, warehouse operations, vendor management, or 3PL management.

Experience supporting big-box retail, retail field operations, or multi-location retail execution is required. Strong vendor management capability is important, including work with RFPs, SLAs, contracts, scorecards, escalations, and service reviews.

You must be organized, able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and comfortable managing several priorities in a fast-moving environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft tools is required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and retail partners.

Preferred Background

A background in consumer electronics, tech retail, or a similar industry is preferred. Certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, or another process improvement/project management credential are also preferred.

Benefits

Eligible employees may receive a benefits package that includes major medical coverage, HSA, dental, vision, employer-paid group life insurance, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and a 401(k) plan.

Employment Notes

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to work independently without sponsorship. Any subsequent employment offer will be considered at-will, regardless of the expected assignment length. False or misleading information submitted during the process may make an applicant ineligible.
