Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for skilled Mortgage Underwriters with substantial experience in the full lifecycle of US conventional mortgage underwriting. Candidates should possess strong expertise in income evaluations, credit assessments, debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value calculations, appraisals, and application of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) tools in compliance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed mortgage loan underwriting activities including comprehensive risk assessments and quality control to ensure adherence to established standards.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must bring between 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in US mortgage underwriting involving conventional loans. Proficiency with mortgage credit analysis, loan documentation, and familiarity with mortgage quality control processes is essential.
