Mobile Developer (Android)

Job Overview

The Android Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting mobile applications tailored for Android platforms, focusing on ensuring high functionality, user experience, and efficient performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold Android apps utilizing Java and Kotlin languages.
• Integrate multiple APIs, software development kits (SDKs), and backend services within applications.
• Guarantee compatibility of apps across a variety of Android devices and operating system versions.
• Apply secure coding standards and optimize software to enhance performance.
• Work collaboratively with design teams and backend engineers to align development efforts.
• Conduct unit testing and resolve technical issues prior to app release.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years and up to 4 years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Strong command of Android Studio environment and associated frameworks.
• Applicants must currently reside in Qatar.

Preferred Certifications

• Google Associate Android Developer (AAD) certification.
• Kotlin Certified Developer credential.
• Firebase Developer Certification.
