Role overview

A busy cabinetmaking workshop in Coolum Beach is looking for Joinery Drafters to handle a broad mix of commercial and residential projects across the Sunshine Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate joinery and cabinetry drawings from architectural plans.
• Use Cabinet Vision and CAD tools to prepare detailed drafting work.
• Contribute to cabinet joinery design with an understanding of manufacture, hardware, and installation requirements.
• Work with builders, including discussions around pricing where required.
• Deliver work with strong attention to detail and a process-led approach.
• Operate effectively both as part of a project team and independently.

Requirements

• Prior experience with Cabinet Vision.
• Solid CAD capability within the cabinetmaking/joinery sector.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and convert them into precise technical drafts.
• High accuracy and strong focus on detail.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with builders.
• Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
