Role overview
A busy cabinetmaking workshop in Coolum Beach is looking for Joinery Drafters to handle a broad mix of commercial and residential projects across the Sunshine Coast.
Key responsibilities
- Create accurate joinery and cabinetry drawings from architectural plans.
- Use Cabinet Vision and CAD tools to prepare detailed drafting work.
- Contribute to cabinet joinery design with an understanding of manufacture, hardware, and installation requirements.
- Work with builders, including discussions around pricing where required.
- Deliver work with strong attention to detail and a process-led approach.
- Operate effectively both as part of a project team and independently.
Requirements
- Prior experience with Cabinet Vision.
- Solid CAD capability within the cabinetmaking/joinery sector.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and convert them into precise technical drafts.
- High accuracy and strong focus on detail.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with builders.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
